American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan hosted a virtual meeting with representatives of companies – members of the chamber.

According to the upper house of parliament, the event was attended by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, International Economic Relations, Foreign Investments and Tourism Ravshan Alimov, acting First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Mukhtarov and representatives of more than 20 leading foreign companies.

Representatives of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan informed about the customs and tariff regulations in the implementation of foreign trade operations.

Foreign entrepreneurs highly appreciated the positive changes and measures taken in the country to improve the business and investment climate.

The readiness of the parliament and representatives of relevant agencies of the country for an open dialogue was emphasized.

Participants of the meeting agreed to continue this format of constructive discussion of emerging issues in the activities of foreign investors.
