A delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloglu visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At a meeting with the leadership of the Senate, the prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Foundation were discussed, in particular, issues of strengthening multilateral ties in culture, science, education, other humanitarian areas, and the implementation of joint projects in this direction.
Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva noted the need for effectively using the capabilities of the interstate structures of the CIS, primarily the Interstate Foundation, to further strengthen and expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
Chairman of the Board of the Foundation Polad Bulbuloglu, speaking about the reforms in Uzbekistan, noted that during the visit he witnessed cardinal changes taking place in almost all areas, including cultural and humanitarian ones. According to him, this speaks of the great attention President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pays to science, culture and youth issues.
The parties exchanged views on establishing a permanent dialogue among the academic circles of the CIS member countries.
