A meeting has taken place between the Director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Obid Khakimov, and the CEO of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) of the United Kingdom, Sara Pantuliano.

The parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two research structures. The main directions of scientific and practical interaction were determined.

Taking into account the extensive experience of ODI in foreign countries in researching development issues, plans have been outlined to attract the potential of the British Institute to support economic reforms in Uzbekistan.

Following the talks, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between CERR and ODI.
