Members of the Uzbekistan national team who performed successfully at the Asian Road Cycling Championships in Saudi Arabia have returned home.

They were welcomed at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov by authorized representatives of the Uzbekistan Cycling Federation, the wider sporting community, and members of the media.

Honored Coach of Uzbekistan Lyudmila Markelova sincerely congratulated the athletes, highlighted their achievements, and wished them even greater success.

The championship competitions were held among youth, senior, and U23 athletes. Approximately 350 cyclists from more than 24 Asian countries competed for medals. Uzbekistan riders won five medals – one gold, two silver, and two bronze – and ranked among the top three teams in the overall standings.
