A ceremonial meeting of the Uzbekistan delegation, which participated in the World Taekwondo Junior Championships in South Korea, was held at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Representatives of the Uzbekistan Taekwondo Association and the media met the taekwondo athletes.

More than 1,000 athletes from 100 countries participated in the World Championships. The Uzbekistan youth team achieved worthy results. Dilmurodjon Marufjonov won the gold medal, and Bekhruz Salimov won the bronze medal. Uzbekistan’s athletes took third place in the team standings.
