“Central Asia” International Center for Industrial Cooperation to be established

As part of the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulating the activities of the “Central Asia” International Center for Industrial Cooperation entered into force.

The document was signed on behalf of Uzbekistan by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, and on behalf of Kazakhstan by the Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev.

The center’s tasks include creating favorable conditions for developing interstate cooperation and value chains, increasing the efficiency of using the production base of border areas, optimizing production processes, and modernizing and increasing the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in the center.
