Central Asia Education Symposium: “Qualified teachers – a qualified nation”
UNESCO and the World Bank, together with the Ministries of Education of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, are preparing a regional report on state policy towards teachers in Central Asian countries.
Kazakhstan’s Astana hosts a symposium on education in Central Asian countries “Qualified teachers – a qualified nation”, where approaches to education, attracting and retaining the best teaching staff in the region are discussed. It was noted that teachers play an important role in ensuring the quality of education. In turn, the selection of teaching staff, their hiring and professional development are of great importance.
Vice-Rector of the National Research Institute of Professional Development and Teaching New Methodologies to Teachers named after A.Avloni under the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan M.Pardayeva is also attending the event.
