Navoi hosted an event dedicated to the 31st Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence.

Acting Hokim of the region Normat Tursunov noted that there are 22,655 entrepreneurs in the region, all of them are the driving force behind progress. The volume of economic entities in the gross regional product per capita is 7.1 million UZS, which is 0.7 million UZS more than in the same period last year.

Construction work is carried out at 101 social facilities to develop social and industrial infrastructure at the expense of centralized sources. Within the framework of the “Prosperous Mahalla” and “Prosperous Village” programs, 49 social facilities in 22 mahallas are acquiring a new look. 16 schools, 12 preschool education institutions, seven medical institutions, 14 mahalla buildings are being repaired. 166 kilometers of water supply, 24.5 kilometers of pipelines, 186 kilometers of internal roads are being repaired. New Uzbekistan neighborhoods are being built in Karmana and Qiziltepa districts.

A concert was organized at the event.
