Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Bakhrom Kuchkarov met with the Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Foreign Affairs and National Security Sergei Rachkov and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia Vadim Ivanets.

The parties discussed the preparation and conduction of the Presidential elections in Uzbekistan. As noted, the election campaign in Uzbekistan is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Electoral Code and democratic principles.

Mr. Sergei Rachkov, Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Foreign Affairs and National Security, noted that they will follow the elections using the CIS election observation methodology. He wished success in the upcoming elections.
