The Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan Zayniddin Nizamkhojayev has met with the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov.

According to CEC, the parties highly appreciated the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the SCO, including the regular participation of Uzbekistan representatives in the mission of the SCO member states in the parliamentary and presidential elections.

The CEC Chairman invited Secretary-General Vladimir Norov and the SCO Observer Mission to take part in the upcoming Presidential Elections as international observers.

In turn, the SCO Secretary-General expressed satisfaction with the above changes and proposals, informed about the activities carried out to attract leading experts of the organization’s member states to monitor important political processes.

The parties agreed to further strengthen collaboration.
