The delegation of the Republic of Korea noted the positive dynamics of Uzbekistan’s economic growth, welcomed government’s efforts on liberalization of various sectors of the economy, creating necessary conditions for foreign investors.

It was also noted that this meeting will create an opportunity for further exchange of experience and views between Uzbekistan and Korea business circles.

Over the past two years, the trade turnover between the two countries exceeded 2.1 billion dollars, which became the highest figure in recent years. 660 enterprises are operating in Uzbekistan with participation of Korean investors, including 354 enterprises with 100% foreign capital.

Within the framework of the event, negotiations were held between Korea and Uzbekistan companies for implementation of joint business projects in such areas as technologies for development of outdoor advertising and systems, led displays, packaging materials, medical equipment, cosmetics, production of ventilation materials and others were held during the event.
