On November 1, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of German businesspeople.

The members of the delegation were informed about the current state of the country's economic development and the main directions of further cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.

It was noted that by the end of 2021, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $762 million. It was also mentioned that 201 enterprises with the participation of investors from Germany operate in Uzbekistan.

The CCI attaches special importance and actively cooperates with various German organizations and companies, including the BSW, the GIZ, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the representative office of the German Economy for Central Asia and many others.

The parties discussed the issues of strengthening bilateral ties in energy, construction, transport and logistics.
