Central Asia is considered a region prone to long-term effects of global climate change. Environmental problems observed in the region have a negative impact on the process of economic development. Therefore, the CAREC organization raises the potential for financing climate change programs in member countries, develops cooperation within the framework of green initiatives.

Intensification of scientific exchange between countries, development of an integrated approach to regional economic cooperation was discussed at CAREC Institute Advisory Council meeting.
