One such event has taken place in Yakkasarai district’s special school No 25 for children with disabilities.

The Trade Unions Federation of Uzbekistan is conducting systemic work to strengthen the protection of people’s socio-economic interests and labour rights as well as to raise spirituality and social security for children.

In the “Trade Unions’ attention to children” campaign, 12 thousand first-grade pupils of about 300 schools of the country took part. Conversations were held with the use of interactive methods with them about the need for a careful attitude to the environment. Well-known artistes and puppet theatre actors presented their programmes as part of the event.

“The main goal of the project is to popularize a healthy lifestyle among children. During the event, these rules were explained to children, and pamphlets were handed out on rules of public health and hygiene, which they should adhere to in everyday life,” says the deputy principal of school No 25 in Yakkasarai district of the capital city, Rano Nizomova.
