As part of the Third Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, held in Kazan in October this year, agreements were concluded between the two countries’ health ministries.

In this regard, the Tatarstan Healthcare Days were held in Uzbekistan in high spirits. Qualified specialists and professors in cardiology, urology, gynecology, oncology, and ophthalmology from leading medical centers led by representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan exchanged knowledge and experience with their colleagues from Uzbekistan.

A cardiac surgeon from the State Autonomous Institution of Health “Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center” in the city of Kazan, Artur Zakiryanov, and a cardiac surgeon from the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital Denis Petrishenko visited the Namangan branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology.

Another practical achievement of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Scientific and Practical Cooperation between cardiologists of Namangan and Tatarstan.
