Cardiac surgeon of the University of Vienna, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Marek Ehrlich got acquainted with the activities of Bukhara branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.

The doctor is the head of the Aneurysm Treatment Program and, together with the branch’s leading cardiac surgeon, Professor Abdusalom Abdurakhmanov, conducted cardiac surgeries for three days. Masterclasses were organized for colleagues and young specialists.

Marek Ehrlich gave a lecture to the branch doctors about his scientific and practical activities and presented a presentation on the current state of cardiac surgery in Austria. He noted that all the conditions have been created in the branch and that he is ready to work with specialists from Bukhara during the following visits.

The professor examined patients in the cardiac surgery and cardiac intensive care departments and consulted more than 40 patients who needed surgery.
