Twenty camera traps in the Saygachiy reserve of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have captured rare animals and birds, including saigas.

Saigas included in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List have not been seen in Ustyurt over the past five years.

The camera traps also recorded rare animals of the fauna – foxes, eagles and geese.
