This was discussed at a conference held at the National Press Center on the issue of ensuring openness of the activities of the Preschool Education Agency and improving public control in the system.
“In 2024, several priority tasks in the preschool education system will be implemented”, said Agrippina Shin, Director of the Preschool Education Agency. One of our primary goals is to bring the enrollment level of children in preschool education institutions to 76 percent by the end of 2024 and the enrollment level of children aged 6 years in the school preparation system to 96 percent”.
As noted, Uzbekistan is achieving several positive results in radically reforming the preschool education system, expanding the network of kindergartens, and ensuring even more comprehensive coverage of children.
Early Development Centers created within the framework of the World Bank project “Early Child Development” covered 1,600 children.
Construction and repair work were carried out in 3,519 state preschool education institutions in the country, and an additional 535,160 places were created.
