In the Andijon Regional phase of the “Businesswoman -2017” contest, Odinahon Saidova, chief of the Ahmad Jora Sahovati farm and the Agroprodukt eksport agrofirma LLC in Andijon District, won.

“I am very glad that I have won in this contest which gives encouragement to enterprising women and girls. Such events make it possible to learn about the work and advanced experiences of active and enterprising women and girls,” says Odinahon Saidova.

The Andijon Regional council of the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party, the regional directorate of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the regional farmers council arranged the contest. This contest is of important significance to the growth of the ranks of enterprising women and girls and to the proper encouragement of their work.

Oygul Tojiddinova, a craftswoman from Izbosgan District, took second place, and Mashhura Akbarova, the manager of the Tojmahal IMM in the city of Andijon, took third place.

Winners were also determined in such nominations as “Modern businesswoman”, “Generous businesswoman of the year”, “the most active businesswoman in the development of village infrastructure” and “Businesswoman who have created the largest number of jobs for girl graduates”.
