Tashkent hosted an international conference on “Business Integrity, International Practice and Standards”.

The event was organized jointly by the international audit consulting companies American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, KPMG and the UNDP. The participants discussed the development and implementation of effective business programs, managing conflicts of interest and mutual exchange of views, presenting best practices in organizing a compliance system at enterprises of the corporate sector of Uzbekistan.

The experience of the development of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the implementation of the anti-corruption system and the compliance function in the activities of the company, as well as measures to ensure the efficiency of work in this direction were analyzed.

The participants discussed in detail the existing problems and trends in creating conditions for business development, the formation of attractive ideas for investors, the implementation of a compliance system in the corporate sector, and presented appropriate recommendations.
