Uzbekistan promotes important ideas to strengthen people’s peace, stability, and unity. Therefore, the international community highly appreciates President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s efforts to enhance the country’s foreign policy, establish international relations, and ensure peace and economic growth.
Today, Uzbekistan has become a platform for international relations. An example of such recognition is the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent.
As part of this summit, Tashkent hosted the 5th Business Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization. Azerbaijani businessman Ruslan Imanzade also took part in the forum, along with representatives of the member states of the organization, who noted that this forum and friendly relations between the two countries play an essential role in his business activities.
– Over 25 entrepreneurs participated in the Business Forum, – he said. – Participation in a forum of this level is essential and strengthens economic ties between countries. I would also like to emphasize that relations between our countries are strengthening based on mutual friendship and common interests. In August this year, during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Azerbaijan, the leaders of our states visited school No. 1 named after Mirzo Ulugbek in the city of Fuzuli and held a meeting with the staff and students of the school.
The construction of this modern school with 960 seats is an initiative of the President of Uzbekistan and a practical reflection of the friendly relations between our peoples.
In addition, cooperation has been established between the two countries in many areas, such as construction, textiles, and food industries. More than 10 enterprises with the participation of Azerbaijani capital operate in Uzbekistan.
