The Sirdaryo Regional stage of the II republican business forum of young entrepreneurs “Topical issues of the development of youth entrepreneurship” has taken place in Guliston.

The event held by the regional council of the Kamolot youth public movement was attended by young entrepreneurs, representatives of state bodies, commercial banks and organizations that help business.

It was said that attention being paid under the leadership of President Islam Karimov to supporting youth entrepreneurship, ensuring the employment of young people and creating new jobs was producing good results.

The presidential decree dated 6 February 2014 “On additional measures directed towards implementing the state youth policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is an important programme document in this area.

At the event held with the aim of giving entrepreneurial knowledge to young people and supporting their business ideas, striving and initiatives and involving them in entrepreneurial activities, 10 people displayed their ability in various spheres.

“Such events play an important role in supporting and encouraging young entrepreneurs’ projects,” says a coordinator of the Sirdaryo Regional council of the Kamolot youth public movement, Sh.Bobojonov.

Eight participants whose business ideas were found to be the best will be taking part in the republican stage of the forum.
