JSCB Business Development Bank announced the launch of the IT competition BRB Fintech Hackcelerator/Hackathon.

This event aims to support the IT business in Uzbekistan, create IT products, and improve the population’s financial literacy. The hackathon is being implemented in cooperation with leading organizations such as Amity University, Yandex, the IT community of Uzbekistan, and Veon AdTech.

Applications from 200 teams were submitted for this hackathon, with a prize fund of 300 million UZS. Of these, 47 teams were selected, with 206 participants. The teams consist of strong representatives of leading IT companies, business structures, universities, and educational institutions.

The products and solutions created during the month-long competition BRB Fintech Hackcelerator are expected to help develop innovative services for entrepreneurs and open up new opportunities for them. 

47 teams will have a month of intensive work, during which, having received advice and guidance from leading mentors, they will strive to reveal their potential and find optimal solutions for the IT products they create. 

The main goal of the Business Development Bank at this event is to support and develop IT businesses, startups, and specialists in Uzbekistan. BRB Fintech Hackcelerator will become an annual platform for creating innovative products and exchanging experiences.
