20:32 / 2024-03-12

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Business Development Bank, Sakhi Annaklichev, and the President of Yamagata University, Hidetoshi Tamate, signed an agreement during the Uzbekistan – Japan Business Forum held in Tokyo on March 7 this year.

By mutual agreement, 10 thousand entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will undergo training based on Japanese experience, and mentors will be trained. This agreement is the practical result of cooperation between the bank and the university, established in November last year.

According to the Business Development Bank, the training courses, conducted jointly with a prestigious Japanese university, will train entrepreneurs to develop business skills, develop a business plan, and find sources of project financing.

At the same time, with the help of Japanese specialists, mentors from among local personnel will be trained. It is planned that in the future, mentors will organize training for entrepreneurs in regional Small Business Assistance Centers.

It should be noted that entrepreneurs who have completed practical courses as part of the Comprehensive Program for Continuous Support of Small Businesses can take advantage of the financial support instruments provided by the Business Development Bank.
