Business Clinic – a consultant for entrepreneurs in a pandemic

The Business Clinic project was introduced in practice in May this year. It is aimed at supporting business in Uzbekistan during and after the pandemic.
The project is implemented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with UNDP.
Its goal is to mitigate the negative consequences in business activities arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. For this, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry through a single call-center at a short number 1094 provides free legal and business consultations on the benefits and preferences for entrepreneurs provided for within the framework of Presidential decrees and government resolutions. It also provides for the preparation of webinars and videos with participation of specialists for a wider explanation of the essence and significance of these documents.
As of June 5, 210 calls from entrepreneurs were received on the hotline 1094. Specialists gave timely advice on these requests.
Business Clinic, with the involvement of domestic and foreign experts, conducted 10 online webinars, during which practical assistance was provided in matters related to supporting the activities of entrepreneurs in the current conditions.
