Bukhara will host the Second International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry at the beginning of May.

The festival’s purpose is to identify experienced and talented artisans working in gold embroidery and jewelry who are making a significant contribution to the industry's development, the preservation of unique and endangered works of art, and the popularization of the national brand worldwide.

The festival will include presentations, exhibitions, musical theater performances and entertainment programs, and cultural and educational events. A scientific and practical conference on “Prospects for the development of traditional gold embroidery and jewelry art” will be organized.
