Bukhara is actively preparing for the International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry to be held on 21-25 May this year and the National Embroidery Festival.

“211 foreign guests from more than 50 countries of the world are expected to take part in the festival”, said Akbar Muhammedov, head of the Bukhara regional department of the Hunarmand Association of Uzbekistan. – Guests, including jewelers, gold embroiderers, embroiderers, conference participants, foreign media representatives, WCC employees, high-ranking guests and representatives of partner organizations are arriving in the city. Guests will be accommodated in hotels in Tashkent and Bukhara. They are accompanied by volunteers who are fluent in English, Arabic, Persian, Spanish, Turkish and Russian.

The event will be attended by 97 jewelers and 10 jewelry enterprises from 14 regions of the country, 33 gold embroiderers, 35 embroiderers and 90 craftsmen in other areas.

Over 10 samples of souvenirs advertising the festival were prepared, including the book “History of Gold Embroidery Art”.
