On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Bukhara State University, the 3rd Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions in the Field of Tourism was held. The event was attended by rectors, vice-rectors, industry experts, and representatives of international organizations.

“The holding of this forum within the framework of the events of the Bukhara Biennial under the auspices of UNESCO is important. We discussed issues of professional development in tourism, scientific projects, organization of dual education, and employment of graduates”, says Obidjon Khamidov, Rector of Bukhara State University.

A detailed analysis of the experience of employing graduates of higher educational institutions in this field was conducted within the framework of the two-day forum. The current issues of implementing educational programs based on the VATEL School of Hotel and Tourism Business in France and other priority areas in tourism and hospitality education were also considered.

The event provided productive recommendations and opinions on key personnel training issues in the tourism industry, international experiences, and further enhancing the quality of education.
