The Ark Fortress in Bukhara hosted the closing ceremony of the Second International Gold Embroidery and Jewelry Festival.
Famous artisans, designers, heads of jewelry enterprises, scientists and experts from abroad, activists of the region, and employees of leading media of Uzbekistan and other countries were invited to the ceremony.

114 jewelers, 39 masters of gold embroidery, 90 artisans from all regions of Uzbekistan, and representatives of more than 15 jewelry enterprises took part in the festival. 123 distinguished guests from 42 countries, including the World Crafts Council Vice President, also attended the event.
The event was covered by over 100 local and foreign journalists from Pakistan, New Zealand, India and Türkiye, and Chinese media representatives accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and permanently working in Uzbekistan.

More than 15 thousand tourists and 4.5 thousand foreigners became the event’s guests. Media representatives and influencers from New Zealand, China, the UK, and several other countries captured the highlights of the international festival on the pages of foreign magazines, newspapers, and on Instagram.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the winners were awarded in such nominations as “The best jewelry organization”, “The best gold embroidery organization”, “The best master of gold embroidery”, “The best jeweler”, “The best master of the jewelry school”, “The best master of the gold embroidery school”, “Heir to an ancient dynasty in the jewelry”, “The heir of an ancient dynasty in gold embroidery”, “The jeweler who revived ancient traditions”, “The master of gold embroidery who revived ancient traditions”, “The youngest master jeweler”, “The youngest master of gold embroidery”.

The event continued with theatrical historical-artistic compositional performances and a concert program featuring masters of arts and folklore ensembles.
