Bukhara hosted Nasreddin Afandi Festival along with Navruz celebrations.

Nasreddin Afandi is associated with a smile on faces, humor and resourcefulness in different situations. The Ark Fortress is filled with joy and fun during the event. The opening of the festival took place in Lyab-i Hauz Complex. 

The event was attended by residents and foreign tourists, who gained additional knowledge about the traditions and customs of the Uzbek people and highly appreciated the organization of the festival. 

The guests enjoyed performances of the participants in national costumes, as well as costumes of different characters. Everyone danced to the sounds of karnays and surnays.
