Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Austria Abat Fayzullayev visited Bukhara region to hold a meeting with Deputy Hokim of the region Rizo Asadov and entrepreneurs, visited production facilities.

Issues of implementation of investment projects were discussed and promising directions in attracting advanced technologies of European countries to the industry of the region were identified.

The possibility of attracting tourists from Austria and Hungary to pilgrimage (ziyorat) tourism to the holy places in Bukhara, the organization of the export of textile products of domestic producers to these countries, as well as the participation of Austrian and Hungarian companies in the development of the livestock industry in the region was also discussed.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria, Hun-Bas Invest Ltd, together with a local partner, plans to launch the production of ethyl alcohol in Bukhara region’s Karaulbazar district based on Hungarian technologies.

The favorable conditions created in the region for foreign investors are becoming a solid basis for further strengthening the export potential of domestic manufacturers.
