Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov as part of the exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” held talks with the Governor of Penza region Oleg Melnichenko on the development of foreign economic and cultural cooperation.

The parties exchanged views on assisting entrepreneurs in enhancing trade and economic ties, increasing trade between regions.

Botir Zaripov put forward a proposal for mutually beneficial cooperation in the cultural and textile sectors, the production of building materials and medical products. Oleg Melnichenko noted that Penza region is interested in enhancing foreign economic and cultural ties.

The participants of the meeting agreed to attract foreign direct investment and increase the export potential by demonstrating the economic capabilities of the regions.

The parties discussed the possibilities and prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, humanitarian and other areas between the Perm and Bukhara regions.
