Bukhara celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Honor

Retro cars and modern military equipment drove through the streets of Bukhara on the occasion of May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor. The length of the route was over eight kilometers.

The event organized on this occasion was attended by officers, sergeants and soldiers of the military units of Bukhara garrison of the South-Western Special Military District, personnel of the National Guard, car and motorcycle enthusiasts, representatives of the “Vatanparvar” Defense Assistance Organization of Uzbekistan, the tourist police.

New modern equipment presented to the military units of Bukhara garrison of the South-Western Special Military District, which was attended by the Hokim of the region, officials of the Ministry of Defense, the command of the troops of the South-Western Special Military District, veterans, youth and public representatives.

Representatives of the military units were handed over almost 20 onboard curtain side vans capable of easily moving along uncomfortable roads. The vehicles produced by Uz AutoTRAILER are designed for the transportation of military personnel and cargo, towing equipment and weapons. Off-road vans reliably protect servicemen and cargo from rain, snow, sun, wind and dust.

A composition dedicated to the victory in World War II was presented at the Central Park of Culture and Recreation of Bukhara.
