A delegation of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture led by its Rector Sergey Repkin visited Tashkent.
Members of the delegation visited the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport and got acquainted with created conditions. At the Museum of Olympic Glory, the rectors of the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding, the main purpose of which is to train highly qualified specialists in physical culture and sports, improve the skills of teachers and expand cooperation with advanced foreign higher education institutions, analytical and research centers, international organizations.
In accordance with the memorandum, an additional faculty is planned to be organized at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport in the next academic year. It is planned to carry out international research projects, conduct research and international workshops, exchange educational and scientific-methodical literature. In addition, it is planned to organize mutual internships and student exchanges for improving the qualifications of the faculty.
