The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Europe – Uzbekistan Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ) held a webinar.

The webinar was organized to inform the EU business community widely about the process of socio-economic reforms in Uzbekistan.

More than 200 representatives of the business community of European Union countries and international organizations attended the event.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov spoke about the transformations in Uzbekistan in the socio-economic, investment, and trade spheres.

The First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Norkulov, also attended the webinar. In his speech, he discussed the latest reforms and achievements in the country's economy. Particular attention was paid to transformations and measures aimed at supporting market reforms.

During the webinar, prospects for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and European partners were discussed.
