Five wrestlers from Uzbekistan reached the finals at the BRICS Sports Games in Kazan.

Nodirbek Jumanazarov will fight against Ramiz Gamzatov (Russia, 57 kg), Sardar Ruzimov against Bashir Magomedov (Russia, 61 kg), Begijon Kuldashev against Kurban Shiraev (Russia, 70 kg), Babur Islamov against Malik Shavaev (Russia, 86 kg) Rustam Shodiyev against Hajimurad Magomedsaidov (Azerbaijan, 97 kg).

Today, another Uzbekistan athlete, Isomiddin Khasanov (97 kg), will compete for the bronze medal and the finalists.

Basketball competitions took place yesterday. Uzbekistan played against Brazil and advanced to the semifinals. In addition, Uzbekistan will play in the semifinal match against Russia.
