15:52 / 2024-05-09

Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Bekhzod Musayev is on a working visit to South Korea.

A meeting took place with the President of the King Sejong Institute Foundation, Lee Hai-young. It was noted that interest in learning the Korean language is growing in Uzbekistan every year, which contributes to increasing the number of specialists coming to work in Korea. The parties agreed to open King Sejong Educational Center branches at the mono-centers of each region of Uzbekistan and to attract teachers from Korea to training courses.

Issues of providing graduates who have received certificates from this training center with visas granting the right to work in Korea, providing monocenters with special teaching aids for EPS test exams were considered at the meeting.

The King Sejong Institute provides Uzbekistan citizens who wish to temporarily work in Korea with an excellent opportunity to master the Korean language, culture and labor legislation in accordance with the requirements of employers.

Issues related to improving the work of the labor inspectorate, attracting investments in vocational training centers, and implementing joint projects were discussed.
