Two-time Olympic champion Bakhodir Jalolov told reporters who will defend the country’s honor at competitions in his weight category after the Olympics.

“Our younger brothers are following us. In particular, Jakhongir Zokirov stands out for his strength. I wish him good luck. I believe that he will become a champion at the next Olympics. We must not give in to anyone in the heavyweight division”, Jalolov noted.

Bakhodir Jalolov officially confirmed his retirement from amateur boxing after winning the Olympic Games in Paris.
