At the ceremony dedicated to the transfer of books, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Sayfullayev and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda noted that Uzbekistan – Tajikistan relations, consistently developing in the spirit of friendship and good-neighborliness, contribute to further strengthening cultural exchange between the two countries.

This event is organized within the framework of the Days of Culture and Arts of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan, held in Uzbekistan in order to strengthen literary, musical, cultural ties between people of the two countries.

Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of books by Tajik writers from the fund of the National Library of Uzbekistan was held.
