Uzbekistan’s athletes are achieving good results at the World Athletics Championships in Paris.

A para-athlete Bobur Omonov won the gold medal in the men’s shot put in the F41 class. It is important that by showing the result of 14 m 73 cm, Omonov updated the World Championships record.

Doniyor Soliyev, in the T12 jumping competition with a result of 7 m 47 cm, added another medal of the highest standard to the team’s treasury, thanks to which he also updated the world record.

Nurkhon Qurbonova, who took part in the women’s shot put competition, received a bronze medal for the 7 m 38 cm result.

Thus, Uzbekistan’s Paralympic athletes won a license for the Summer Paralympic Games “Paris 2024”.
