The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade hosted a meeting with a delegation of BNK Financial Group led by a member of the Board of Directors – Chief Executive Officer at BNK Financial Group Doo-Ho Lee.

The parties discussed the issues of the company’s investment plans regarding entry into the banking and financial market of Uzbekistan. The foreign party provided detailed information about the company’s activities and work experience.

The main attention was paid to the substantive discussion of the legislative framework of Uzbekistan, which enshrines the protection of the rights of foreign investors operating in the country. The parties agreed to organize meetings aimed at helping the South Korean financial group enter Uzbekistan’s market. A cooperation plan will be developed for this purpose.
