Blind people can use Braille when filling out the ballot
– The Central Election Commission on the eve of the referendum prepared stencils of ballots in Braille to ensure the rights of blind and visually impaired citizens.
Such people, upon their arrival at the polling station, along with the ballot will be given a stencil containing the same information and entries as in the regular ballot. After reviewing the content of the questions in Braille and marking the answer option as desired, they will be able to exercise their right to vote and express their will, – Secretary of the Central Election Commission Khudoyor Mamatov says.
