A press conference timed to the opening of the exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire” took place in Berlin.

The event was attended by the President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation Hermann Parzinger, Director of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History (Berlin) Matthias Wemhoff, curator of the exhibition Manfred Nawroth, Executive Director of Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan Gayane Umerova.

In her speech, the Head of the Foundation spoke about the importance of the exhibition project, its preparation and contribution to the development of the cultural and historical heritage of the country abroad.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed following the event. This has been reported by the Press Service of the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire” is held at the James Simon Gallery.
