Belgrade hosted a seminar on “Production of statistics based on metadata” organized by the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the European Free Trade Association, and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

The Head of the Department of Development and Human Resources Management of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Zulhumor Talipova, and the Head of the Department for Information and Cybersecurity, Shahboz Janadilov, attended the event.

The participants shared their experience in implementing a metadata-based system, its advantages, problems arising during its implementation, and ways to solve them.

At the seminar, experts presented reports, held interactive discussions, exchanged strategies, best practices, and experiences, and discussed the next steps.
