The Republican Council of the Trade Union of Energy, Oil and Gas and Geology Workers carries out systematic work on establishing relations with international organizations and initiates the participation of the trade union committee in various events, the main purpose of which is to exchange experience.

Uzbekistan delegation has departed for Belarus to attend Belarus – Uzbekistan Trade Union workshop on information work. The delegation, led by the Head of the Press Service of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Mukhabbat Urmanbekova, includes representatives of the Trade Union of Energy, Oil and Gas and Geology Workers, as well as primary trade union organizations and enterprises of the oil and gas and energy industries. The event was organized by the Belarusian Union of Chemical, Mining and Oil Industries Workers, in Minsk.

The grand opening of the international workshop took place at the headquarters of the National Vocational Center in Minsk. 

Mukhabbat Urmanbekova noted that the trade unions of the two countries are actively working to protect the socio-economic interests and labor rights of workers, and it is very important to properly build information work here. In this regard, cooperation in the information sphere will be mutually beneficial not only for trade unions, but also for workers of the two countries.

Following the workshop, the Belarusian colleagues thanked the delegation of Uzbekistan for the visit and expressed their readiness to continue further joint activities. Uzbekistan’s experience in the information work was noted.
