Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov has met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Marinich.

The parties discussed issues of attracting tourists, as well as Belarusian companies to the construction of eco-houses in Bostanlyk and Zaamin districts of Uzbekistan.

A draft bilateral intergovernmental agreement on tourism development is being prepared.

The agreement is planned to be signed within the framework of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission to be held on 16-18 December this year.

The agreement will be aimed at mutual promotion of tourism potential, attracting tourists from Belarus to Uzbekistan and from Uzbekistan to Belarus.

Particular attention will be paid to the promotion of ski resorts in Uzbekistan, as well as projects related to investment in the tourism industry of the country.
