Belarus delegation visits Uzbekistan
On December 4, the Main Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with members of the delegation led by Sergei Khomenko, Head of the Department for Safety and Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
On December 4, the Main Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with members of the delegation led by Sergei Khomenko, Head of the Department for Safety and Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
At the meeting, issues of further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the spheres of fighting crime, ensuring security, introduction of innovative developments in the security system were discussed.
Views were exchanged on equipping facilities with modern security and fire warning systems, establishing centers for computerized central monitoring and data transmission, cynology, improving the effectiveness of video surveillance equipment.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed on cooperation between the security services of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus for 2019-2020.
Members of the delegation visited the main departments of internal affairs and security of the city of Tashkent, where they became familiar with the work on introducing modern technologies into the sphere.
