Lebanon’s Beirut hosts Asia Oceania Cadet and Junior Judo Championships.

Winners in eight weight categories among juniors were determined on the first day of the championship. Uzbekistan’s judokas received nine medals: five gold, three silver and one bronze.

According to the results, young judokas from Uzbekistan take the first, Kazakhstan – the second with three gold, four silver and one bronze medal, and Indian athletes – the third place with one silver and two bronze medals.

The championships will last until December 5.
