Varganza village of Kashkadarya region’s Kitab district is famous for its pomegranates. Many fruits have been harvested this year.

5-6 thousand tons of fruits per year are harvested in farms that grow such varieties of pomegranate as “bedona”, “ulfi”, “tuyatish”, as well as pomegranate orchards on an area of 1000 hectares. Almost 2-2.5 tons of pomegranate are exported annually.
