This year, the Banking and Finance Academy established cooperation with the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Almaty Management University and Kazan Federal University.
Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (LIFIS) has become another partner of the Academy.
On June 24, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Banking and Finance Academy and the Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies.
Rector of the Banking and Finance Academy Timur Yadgarov, the head of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, Dr. Werner Regen, and the board member of the Institute Hermann Marsh, speaking about the activities of educational institutions, noted the importance of establishing cooperation in science and education.
“With the support of NBU, the Banking and Finance Academy is implementing a long-term development strategy that provides for the creation of an international educational hub that unites technology, science and entrepreneurship, attracting the best minds of the country and the entire Central Asian region for training”, says the Rector of the Academy T. Yadgarov.
The Cooperation Agreement will allow uniting the efforts of specialists from the Banking and Finance Academy and Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies to further develop scientific, educational and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany. Students and teachers of the Academy will be sent for internships and training in Germany.
